Upon discovering the software Ableton Live in the mid-2000s IBG began focusing heavily on the art of music production. Within a year he landed a job working for Ableton out of their New York office, taking trips to Berlin and absorbing its inspirational music scene.  Meanwhile IBG honed his skills as a producer of many genres, releasing dance remixes for NYC indie-rockers Asobi Seksu, Jen Urban and the Box, and LA’s Cassorla, as well as original productions for his pop group The Identifiers.

Relocating to Maine in 2013, IBG met MC Mona Diamonds, and the genre-pushing trap project, Gold Bikini, was born.

In the meantime IBG has produced and/or mixed records for a number of unique artists. Two full-length albums he’s particularly proud of are Matthew Hough’s When Summer Ends and Matt Von Roderick’s Hero’s Journey.

IBG currently provides a range of music production services: from composing music for film or dance, or helping an artist fill out their album with the latest production and mixing techniques. He is totally comfortable working in Pro Tools, Logic and Ableton Live.

He also provides production lessons (especially for Ableton Live), both remotely and in person.
