As a party-rocking record selector, IBG got his start circa 2008, playing college parties, art galleries and weddings in New York City. Word of his natural ability to move the crowd spread, and by 2010 he became a regular at Pianos’ Mile High party — spinning electro house, pop remixes and breaks till 4am.
Inspired by DJs of yore whose sole mission was to rock the party, IBG’s crates span everything from contemporary commercial hip hop to ’70s soul. Catch him live and you might see him mix Diana Ross, Beenie Man, Detroit techno and Justin Timberlake….
IBG has been a resident DJ as well as a selector at parties throughout the Northeast, spinning funky deep house, dusty ’90s hip hop, dancehall, future bass and more.
